From the B2 series, the EFR 8374 dominates on the track thanks to unmatched spool up and performance. This is an advanced ball bearing turbocharger with Gamma-Ti turbine wheel technology which greatly improves spool-up. EFR turbos have the competitive advantage over other brands thanks to the lightweight turbine wheel material which cuts turbine inertia in half vs. Inconel. Gamma-Ti (aka Titanium Aluminide) is commonly used in aircraft turbine blades which provides strength and weight reduction. Since it requires less energy to accelerate the wheel, higher speeds can be reached sooner and as a result the on-engine boost response improves while the competition is reaching for the NOS button to catch up!
EFR 8374 is sized just right for single turbo applications making 475 to 750 HP or up to 1,500 HP in twin turbo configurations! This turbo also is a top choice for 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder, single turbo setup, rotaries, twin-turbos V6 and V8s, and a variety of other race applications.
