Details

The EFR 6758 is the mid-frame ball bearing turbo within the B1 series. It’s a popular choice because it is larger than the 6258, but smaller than the 7163. This is an advanced ball bearing turbocharger with Gamma-Ti turbine wheel technology which greatly improves spool-up. EFR turbos have the competitive advantage over other brands thanks to the lightweight turbine wheel material which cuts turbine inertia in half vs. Inconel. Gamma-Ti (aka Titanium Aluminide) is commonly used in aircraft turbine blades which provides strength and weight reduction. Since it requires less energy to accelerate the wheel, higher speeds can be reached sooner and as a result the on-engine boost response improves while the competition is reaching for the NOS button to catch up!

EFR 6758 is sized just right for single turbo applications making 250 to 550 HP or up to 1,110 in twin configurations! This turbo also is a top choice for 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder, single turbo setup, rotaries, twin-turbos V6 and V8s, and a variety of other race applications.
